Vw Golf mk8 trouble with infotainment
Hi.
im new here, so if there will be any issue with a just let me know.
let me start from be beginning.
bought one month ago a golf mk8 with 4k mileage (25k car finance) after 8k miles 2 days ago infotainment system starts to restarting and freezing, so I called quickly to vw specialist (not approved by vw, they told me that infotainment system has failed (module 5F) cost will be 3200£ but they won’t give me guarantee that it will work so vw need to do it. So first of all I call VW for warranty. They offer me a book slot for December!. Called back to my dealer(30 miles away) from where I bought a car, he was suggesting me to use a local dealer. Local dealers are sending me back to my dealer where I bought, vw customer service cannot do nothing with that. Was trying to complains and today I will call a bank to speak about finance aswell, because they want aswell a car which is work (just in case if I will struggle with paying) I don’t know if it may help but need to try anything. There is no excuse for vw that they are fully booked. Car is under warranty and 3 months of waiting is a pointless, I’m losing money everyday. I got this car just for a month. Somebody maybe has a similar problem, how to push vw to make a warranty quicker ? I don’t mind to travel to any other dealership just want to sort it out ASAP.
waiting for any answers
best regards
