I'm thinking of buying a Golf as a family car to replace my Scirocco.
I've seen a 1998 1.4E for sale at £1300 and wondered if this was a good price for the model. It's done 108k.

Can you let me know of any common faults I need to look out for and any other tips/informaiton that might be useful
