Default Vw Golf 2000 1.4 16V Cutting out

Hey Guys,
I have a Vw Golf 2000 1.4 16V.

So the battery died on me few weeks ago and i had to jump start it, which i done correctly, replaced bad battery with a new one.
Straight away after this I noticed that when i come to a standstill or running up to lights it will just cut out without no warning.
I have been reading about fuel pump relays etc. The pump is turning on when i open the drivers door as i can hear it. The car has had a full service and the problem persists. The mechanic says it is probably a relay that got damaged.

I also noticed that the problem is extremely bad in colder, damper weather.

The results from Vag- Com indicate a immobiliser or key problem as follows.

Address 17: Instruments
Controller: 1J0 919 911
Component: KOMBI+WEGFAHRS. MM0 V17
Coding: 00441
Shop #: WSC 00000
Ident.-Nr. WEGFAHRS.:VWZ6Z0X0914419
2 Faults Found:
01176 - Key
07-10 - Signal too Low - Intermittent
01176 - Key
65-10 - Unauthorized - Intermittent

Any ideas would be helpfull,
Regards,
V

might need a throttle body remap
if you have a vag go into basic settings and type in 060 and let adaptation run

Hey thanks for the reply,
I was reading also about Throttle Body and the rev hand when down shifting seems to fall right to around 500 Revs also but again only when cold!
I have Vag-Com 409.1 Version fully working is this ok?

Cheers!
