Hi I have a 2002 mk4 golf gti. The car org came with a sony cd player, but I have now changed this to org gamma unit so I can connect my ipod to it. But I am having a few probs getting the wiring right though.

On the black power plug on the radio I have a yellow, red & white, brown, and black cables. I tired to match up the orginal colours to each wire on the plug, but i didnt wire up the black cable. When i try the radio it doesnt power on. I have checked the fuses on both the radio and the fuse box and they are fine. I even tested the radio in another car and it works so it has to be the wiring.

Does anyone know how to wire this up or were I am going wrong.
