Heyyo everyone, i have been having problems with starters in my car. I have a 2000 VW Golf and in the past year i have gone through 3 starters and am on my fourth. The starter is grinding once again everytime i start the car. We have looked through many ideas on why starters would keep going out and have come out with nothing. I am thinking that there is a bigger problem then the starters i am buying. When i have taken it to the shop they were saying it's the starters i have been buying. I have been using NAPA rebuilt starters. Does anyone think it is the starters i am buying? Or any ideas on why the starters would keep grinding and going out?
