Default Replacing right side mirror on a 98 Golf

Hey guys, so I got a 98 golf with a very cracked right mirror. I bought a used mirror in good condition and I want to know how to replace it myself.
And its a manual mirror, not power.

I've been to the scrapyard to look for mirrors and I know the mirror is held in by 3 screws and the adjustment **** is held in by two. But at the scrapyard, what I had trouble with was getting the door trim off properly without damaging it. I found the plastic screws with the allen head all around the trim. Even after taking those off, I couldn't take the trim off the junkyard car without ripping it off at the top to get access to the mirror haha...

So I want to know, how do I properly remove the door trim on my Golf so I could replace my mirror?

Thanks!
