replacement key fob golf mark V

Just bought a car with one key. VW want £180 for replacement -does anyone know a better option. We live in Staffordshire.

You don't say which year your Golf is?

Without you knowing the SKC which I doubt then the dealer would be the easiest option. VAG TACHO may find the SKC code for you.
