Pre-owned Golf TDI or diesel - manual
I am thinking of trading in one of my older cars for a manual Golf (undecided between TDI or Gas yet)
It will be done at the dealership - north america as i know some of the specs will differ.
For some of the newer models, what issues should i be looking for?

USA drivers like good fuel economy as they like the TDI models.
In the UK there is a VW site where you can save the PDF file from models to browse.

What I meant was, what are some of the issues I should be looking at when buying a pre-owned Golf?
