I picked up my new golf 1.9l 51 reg GT TDi today and when I drove it home I noticed the engine is extremely loud, it sound abit like I'm over revving. When I slow down you can still hear the noise and it takes a while for it to settle again! I was just wondering if this is normal for the diesel engine or whether it's a sign something is wrong. My bro suggested that I may not be using the gears correctly. Any advice would be great.
