Your probably right, I've just done a search and it looks like its in the door lock module VWVortex.com - MKIV door locks explained - why you're having problems!!!

How do you turn off the interior lights in a 2001 Dodge Intrepid?
I accidentally turned the interior lights on, and I can't figure out how to turn them off. I can't find the users manual. Does anyone know how to turn them off?
