i know the car was made in germany the dealer told me that but what or how do i find out the engine code ie AEG or APK or AQY ?
the same goes for my 4 speed automtic trany?

the dealer said the vins starting with vw are made in germany and the vins starting with 3 are made in mexico
i did not notice a sticker on the valve cover i will have to look tomorrow
