Please somebody i need help,I am trying to find a fault on a mk2 golf driver,the light switch was replaced( Broken) the lights did work with the old switch I fitted a second hand switch now i have no dash lights or heater control light and the top of switch (rheostat) gets very hot to hot to touch but the lights work .
I have now used three switches all 9 pin all get hot ever thing Else works ok.the car can be used but not at night[&o] thanks for any help. Ever wish you had never touched something?????????
