I have recently purchased a base model 2002 mk4 1.4 Golf.
Not knowing and just found out after I left my boot open all night
IT DOES NOT HAVE CENTRAL LOCKING!
It only has one fuse for central locking thing but I have been told need to get two more fuses or something? But does this car even have central locking? If it doesnt i think its a bit ridiculous! HELPPP!!

 

the mk 4 golfs come with central locking only with the key, the drivers door will unlock and lock all the doors with the key unless the acrulator is stuffed. its a common problem with the mark 4 where the lock plays up.

 

what is a arculator??

 

the acrulator is on the side of the door, its where the latch connects to the door

 

is it expensive to fix?
