Default GTI 1.8T.

I was looking for a decent Golf 4 GTI 1.8T
Luckily today i found one, I checked it it seemed to be nice. It is a 2002 GTI with 60000 miles.
However checking the VIN number I found that it was assembled in Brazil.
I'm kindly asking you guys if these brazilian cars have any problems, if they are of lower quality, should they be cheaper than the ones assembled in Germany or elsewhere.
Please note that the car is GOLF not GOL.
Thanks in advance.

Checking the car on carfax I also found out that it is a 337 edition. However the car has original GTI 16" wheels and no extra spoilers like a 337 should have but the engine is the 180bhp one.

I'm getting suspicious that this car has had all it's parts removed (rims and spoilers)before being shipped to Lebanon. Do u know guys if the 337 edition has the same parts as the normal GTI or is it more costlt to repair??

Yeah it should have sideskirts and 18" wheels and it comes only in silver, but surprisingly the 337 I found was black. So I"m not buying the car anymore, hope I'll find my dream 1.8T soon.

sometimes you just have to make a decision. I never think negative when I'm doing something....I sometimes think about what a mistake I made trading m y 13 sec 5.0 Mustang for the Jetta. When I think negative I jump in the VR6 and it's all worth it!
