Golf GTI MK5 Tyre Pressures Please
I'd be very grateful if another Golf GTI Mk5 owner out there (with standard Denver wheels fitted), could let me know what the standard operating tyre pressures for there vehicle are.
This is because, I've just bought an ex-demonstrator Golf GTI Mk5 which originally came with the 'Detroit' style low profile alloys fitted. However, to save some money, I asked the dealer to fit the standard 'Denver' style alloys (Tyre size 225/45/R17).
I'd be grateful if someone could tell me what the correct tyre pressures should be for the standard Denver style wheels, as I've got my suspicion that the tyre pressure values printed on the sticker behind the fuel cap for my car are for the Detroit style wheels that were originally fitted at the factory for this vehicle. (Note I assume that the low profile 'Detroit' style tyres/wheels run at a higher tyre pressure than the ones I've got fitted to my vehicle.)
Thanks
Chris
