Hello!
I have a golf -96, and was driving along, when all of a sudden I lost 2nd and 4th gear.
After driving some more I lost 3rd. This left me with 1st and 5th. Then in the end I lost 1st, and a few minutes later I lost 5th.
There was no strange sounds or anything from the transmission. The gears just dissepeared.
When a gear had dissepeared and I tried to shift to that gear, it felt like the gear wasn't there when moving the gear-shifter.
