Default fuel leak

there is a lot of back story on this vehicle, but to cut to the point on my 93 mkIII golf with a 1.9 diesel, there seems to be a fuel leak coming from around the injection pump area, and it runs down the face of the block and puddles on the ground. i though it was the bolts holding the distrubition head were loose, checked those and they were about a 1/4 turn loose. rechecked it and it seemed to stop, but after approx 5 min of idling, fuel puddles on the floor.

if any one has any tips or ideas i would like to hear what you think, or if you need the hole story, i will type it up if you think it will help.

they were replaced in the process, but i will have to double check to make shure, at the same time i will also check the hard lines at the injectors.
