I asked this question in the General Tech forum, but I thought I might as well ask in the Golf forum as well..


I just bought a 2004 Golf, and from what I can tell, it came with a factory alarm/keyless entry system. I bought it from a Mercedes Benz dealership (it was a lease-return), and I didn't get the unit for the keyless entry/alarm.

Anyone know if I can have another unit programmed at the local VW dealership?

 

yeah but it would cost you a lot
