Hi

Have a Golf (petrol), the dashboard warning light (cat) came up. The garage changed the exhuast & cat convertor.

The light was still showing after the exhaust was changed. It has error code P1178.

The exhaust light has started flashing! The motor was juddering in low gear, it seemed better when driving faster??

Has anyone had a similar problem & solution??

We have a MKIV petrol, not GTI
No misfiring

First, the garage replaced the exhaust & cat
Yesterday they replaced2 coils on the distributor cap.

The light was still on this morning!!
