Hey guys I was just wondering if someone could help me out with something. I live about 2 hours away from my nearest VW dealer. Any suggestions on what to look for when looking for a repair shop for VWs?
So the other week my check engine light came on followed by the EPC light. Both lights were off at the time when suddenly, while accelerating, I lost all engine power for about half a second. The car almost wants to stop dead in its tracks. But then the car is fine again. The light comes on and off now but I will experience one of those power loss moments about twice an hour. I have quite a drive to get this looked at by VW so I am just wondering if anyone knows maybe what the problem could be? I have no way home after dropping the car off so it would be nice to kind of know what the possible damage is and how long I will need to leave it there for.

Well there is no point in guessing as there can be many causes you need to finding someone with VAG-COM\VCDS to do an Auto-Scan to see if any error codes come back.
