I have a 2002 vw golf 2.0 5-spd manual with 66,000 miles. I have noticed that when the engine is warm and I am sitting at a traffic light the engine will idle rough meaning that it will idle normally then start to vibrate until it smooths out again. Any suggestions?

 

It could be many things. First check the vacuum lines for a leak. Listen for a hissing sound. The vacuum lines are mapped out in a diagram in the front of the engine compartment.
