i recently bought my 1994 VW Golf 1.8 and the guy told me none of the electric windows or sunroof worked.he said that the motor in the drivers side door neede replacing.
However the passenger door in the front works so i am thinking it may be a fuse or relay as this motor does not power all the others,
So my question is if it is not a fuse could it be a relay and which one as the handbook is missing any clues about what relay it could be and the number of this may help me ID the culprit.
Any further information about this would be greatly appreciated.

I'm having a similar issue with my sunroof(manual windows), I can tilt the sunroof no problem but it'll only slide back about an inch then stops though it'll open with the allen wrench

 

i guess you shud go for a check to both as if the main cause of the trouble are these two entities then why to leave any unfixed
