I just purchased a 2000 Golf 2.0 two door and I have several things that don't work. 1) Neither door will turn on the interior lights when opened. You can push the unlock button on the key fob and they will work though. 2) No bright headlights at all. Also no bright light indicator on the dash either. 3) Drivers door won't lock. Only by pushing unlock and then lock by the key fob. 4) Windshield washer won't work. Thanks for any pointers...

the sensors
wires all seem to be out of their life and need proper service or replacement. you need to look for these things now
