Default Can you put Mk4 seats in a Mk6 Golf?

Strange question, I know.

I recently bought a 2011 Golf TDI Highline. Great car but the seat is killing me (I have a bad back)
I've tried every type of cushion/support/adjustment etc, but to no avail.

My last car was a Mk4 Golf and it was perfect. It just suited me perfectly.

So, I'm wondering if I went to a car dismantler and bought an old Mk4 seat, could you install it in the Mk6?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

I've had a problem with my seat which VW haven't cured it sags at the back of the seat base. There fitted a new seat base under warranty but its exactly the same as the old one. When you pay £25k for a new motor you expect good quality and service.

The quality of VW is ****

I can't tell you if the mk4 seats will fit without checking the part numbers.
