A/C not working at idle

Default A/C not working at idle
1999 Golf w/2.0L. A/c works fine when moving but cuts out at idle. Is this normal? Any ideas would be appreciated.

Check the Hi and Lo switches.. the pressure switches may be hooped. I'd start there.
