Default Brake locks.

Hi,

I have a Golf 1,6 from 2006 and I recently changed the brake discs and the brakes it self. I also changed one of the calipers. Yesterday when driving my left rare brake locked itself and the brake heated up something crazy. I was able to drive it home but it still feels stuck like something is jaming the tire. Does anyone know what it could be or a possible solution to my problem.

It sounds like you fitted a second hand caliper so you need to investigate why its sticking.

Default Volkswagen Golf 1,6 2006

The calipers were new and purchased from Volkswagen itself. It is really strange because I've tried to hit it a little bit but it wont give.

New caliper thats strange. If it only the one thats dragging replace the rubber flex pipe to that caliper. The pipe could be breaking up inside which causes a none return valve.
