Brake discs OEM from VW or Auto Store?
Hi,
I have a VW Golf 2005 where the brake pedal seems to go down further. I found that all the pads seem to be ok. The rear discs have brown stains (from the heat, I assume) and a kind of rim on its outer end. The front discs look fine but they might be not as thick as they should be. Questions:
1) Should I replace the rear discs/pads first and not do the fronts (fonts do 70%) to improve the brake function?
2) Where should I get the parts (a store offered OEM built parts which are not the real OEMs) if I want to get the right ones and what price category should they be in at least (without spending too much...). They gave me an estimate of $35 for a pair of rear discs. I do not want to overpay.
I really could need some advice. I appreciate it!
