Hi I own a 2008 VW Golf City, the problem is when I turned the ignition on (not starting the engine) there is beeping noise coming from somewhere close to the engine (The front hood was open, so I could hear it clearly). It beeped continuously. After about 15 sec, there was suddenly a "pop" sound and the beep noise stopped. Then I started the engine, the beep noise came again but I could barely hear it because the engine is loud. There is no warning signal on, just want to know what is wrong. Thanks

Well thats a new one on me and doesn't show any useful clues.

If you could locate the source\component that is bleeping that might help?
