Hi, My t4 1996 lwb 1.9t has a beeping noise coming from the dash that no one seems to know anything about..... Sounds like an alarm! Only seems to happen when th van is below a certain speed in reletive gear. More revs seem to stop the noise? above 55mph it do doesnt do it! The oil light doesn't work (dont know if this is related as not very mechanically minded). there also seems to be a bit of apatch it job on the alternator the two wire going to it? are covered in some sort of mastik stuff.
