Background lighting for A/C controls

Default Background lighting for A/C controls
The background lighting for the A/C controls is not working. I checked the fuses on the side of the dash, but they are all good. How do I replace the bulb for the control panel? Thanks,

what year is your car newer jettas you pull the **** off the fan switch and its in side the housing
older ones you need to pull the cluster out
