Default 2004 Golf brake light coming on

Hi there. New to forum.
Our 2004 Golf has a problem wear the Brake light blinks for about 10 seconds and beeps three times under two conditions:
1 - Deceleration.
2 - Acceleration from a complete or rolling stop.
And, of course, it does not happen all of the time.
Not sure if this is related to a sensor, brake or ABS problem or something completely different.
Multiple VW dealers have not been able to diagnose the problem.
Any clues anybody?
Any help/tips would be greatly appreciated.
Thx

I am sure you have gotten this resolved by now but just in case. I would start with checking the brake switch https://www.carpartsdiscount.com/cat...html?3594=2350
