Does anyone know at what speeds the auto trans shifts at when accelerating? When I try to get up to 100 mph the engine is near redline. This doesn't sound normal. By 40 mph the car is in its final gear (4th ). I can't find any info anywhere so I hoping to talk to someone else that has a 1999.5 golf tdi automatic.
