Default 1999 Mk IV Golf

Hey everyone, first post here.

Alright so I have a Golf Mk IV that I recently obtained. Right now it has about 114 thousand miles.

It's only the 2.0L engine and doesn't come with the turbo. What I was wondering was if it was possible to swap out the aspirator for a turbo and how difficult it would be since the manifold goes over the engine, not to the side. Would this affect it?

Also, what's a good maker for aftermarket performance parts for the Golf?

the best thing I ever did was get eurotuner mags....there's so many articles and so many parts in there. There's prolly at least 3-4 big name companies you could go to who make quality parts and they are prolly within $20 of each other depending on what site you go to.
