Default Eos limp mode 2010

Is there any way to override limp mode in the eos. This is a too often recurring problem with far too many possible culprits seemingly designed to suck the last dollar out of a guy who simply wanted an affordable convertible. I am willing to risk blowing the engine at this point.

First posts normally go in introductions else you could get a free fix and we never see you again!!!

Default Welcome to Volkswagen Forum - Rules & Recommendations

You need to get your motor scanned (preferably with VAG-COM\VCDS) for any error codes logged in the ecu and post them, that will save a lot of guessing and check systems out.

Thanks for the response. So... I am aware of the VW factory recommendations, and I thought it would be clear from my post that I have been down that dark street a few too many times. I'm sure you are familiar with the cost of attaching to the scanner, and how that can add up quickly when the problem is recurring. You could also sympathize with one who has simply lost confidence that this car will reliably get one from any point A to B. So back to the question I actually asked. Is there any way to override limp mode in the eos?
