Default Starting problems with the car

I have a Cabrio that starts and then will not start. The starter will always crank, but that is all when it will not start. I have had it at the service shop, but it's hard to get it to happen there. The ignition switch, coil, fuses have been changed with no help. I have check the fuel pump and the fuse. everything check good. if anybody has any information on this problem it would help out a lot. I know that I will have to take to the dealership if it comes to it.

What year is your cabrio and size of engine, if i may know?? Have you tested your battery?? Also, check for any loose connections.

I had this problem as well. I decided I would replace the starter. I spent a whole day working on getting the starter out among other things. Eventually, I did not take out the starter because there was one bolt that would not budge. Not even after I let it sit with product on it to loosen it. Anyway, I put it all back together and I haven't had trouble since. Apparently it was simply a loose wire.

For the time being, anytime it doesn't start, you can just give the starter a whack and it it'll start right up:]
