Hi all,

My wifes 1999, VW Cabrio has been having issues starting. I thought it might be a bad battery, or alternator so I took it to Autozone and they checked both and said it was fine.. took the car home and let it "charge" for about an hr. Shut it off, then ever couple hrs started it to make sure all was good. then after about the 6th/7th hr it wouldn't start. There was a "clicking" sound .... is this the Starter going out?

Any ideas? Suggestions?

Check connections to the starter and probably the starter is not engaging anymore.
let me know what you find...
