My alarm went off today and no matter what I did it wouldn't stop yelling. After about five minutes, it quit. Then, when I opened the door to get out it started again. Drive around for about five minutes (yelling all the time) and it stops. Get back home, open the door and it starts blasting again. Is there a way to disable it?

I really love this car and it took me forever to find it: 2001 Cab, 88,000. Something is always wrong. The clutch slips, passenger electric window wont roll up, coolant leaks, water leaks when it rains/car wash, air conditioning quit working, air bag warning light on, ABS light on, check engine light comes on/off, and the windshield wipers came on out of nowhere and I couldn't turn them off.

I support myself and two children and can't afford to start spending thousands on repairs. I would love to develop a plan-to fix this car as I can afford to, and keep it, but I'm wondering if it's time to part ways?

I would be so grateful for any advice.
