Default oil leak. 1999 cabrio

New here folk. Just bought 1999 Cabrio and noticed oil drops on the ground were it's parked. Top of motor is dry but underneath is wet. Bottom of oil pan and oil drain plug area pretty wet with oil. Should I be replacing the oil pan gasket, and new oil drain plug with o-ring? The oil filter area seems mostly dry. And is dropping the oil pan and replacing the oil pan gasket an easy fix?
Thanks for any help.
Phil

Yes replace the gaskets. What engine do you have? Then I can tell you how hard it will be.
