Default Need help identifying this engine emissions hose

I took my car to get the oil changed and they noticed one of the engine hoses is cracked in half. They said it is for emissions.

The hose is connected to a circular saucer-shaped engine piece on the rigth side of the engine block.

I have no idea what the part names are,. but I have included photos.

Can anyone tell me what this hose is and how much to replace?

My dad works in a auto body shop , but I wanted to ask here until I have time to take it to the shop. They said it might cause me to lose gas milage and wont pass emissions but otherwise wont really affect the car much.
