lots of issues....
ok i have a 95 cabrio, with 160,000 miles on it and i have alot of things wrong
1. my car doesnt like to go into first gear all the time, i put it in first and it goes right to third. sometimes i dont have a problem, and then sometimes it just wont go in.
2. if its sitting in the rainning for a long period of time it wont start right away, it takes me like 4-5 times to get it started.
3. there is a rattling noise in the lower part of the engine area.
4. the muffler is loose.
5. the passenger window doesnt work anymore
6. the lock on the driver side stopped working, then the lock it self came out of the door handle.
does anyone have any experience with these problems, or know anything about these issues. i want to get my car back in good shape, but i dont want to spend lots of $$. hopefully i wont have to. anyway thanks for the feedback!

RE: lots of issues....
ok # 1 with that list of problems u are gonna have to spend some $$$. For your stall/start issue 4 -5 to start. I would pop ur hood and find ur "ignition coil" spray some wd40 on it and have a buddy turn it over while watchin it. If you see a elec. current zip out of it it's gettin juice but the housing is cracked (replace ign. coil). u can order and install urself. window problem going down proabably a burned out window motor (but check fuse......actually check all ur fuses). As for the lock ur gonna probably have to shop that one but i would shop arond for prices dealership will wreck u on job as far as $$$ if ur worried about that.

look under your stick cover and there's a shift plate under it so u go into the right gear after a while these wear down and u accidentally slip from first to third. But if you know ur in first and it jumps to third then thats a diffrent problem. give a shout back on cheap troubleshooters and let me know how it goes.
