Hi. I need to replace the windshield in my 1996 VW Cabrio.
I only have basic coverage on my car, and in my state, it doesn't cover windshield damage.
I've priced a new windshield and I simply cannot afford to but a new one.

I have been looking for a used one online, paging thru salvage yard inventories.... and I've come up with nothing for the cabrio.

I know that the golf III is considered the same...

I need a few other parts for my car and they seem next to impossible to find.

If anyone can answer what years are interchangable, it would be so much help.
Or if anyone can give me a link to a site where I may be able to find something I'm looking for, I would greatly appreciate it.

My friend just purchased a Volkswagen aftermarket part, i think it was an VW windshield, though I forgot to ask him where he bought it...
