Driver's door won't unlock with key
 

I have a 2002 Cabrio. Driver's door won't unlock with key. It will lock just fine. Windows up and down work fine with key. But for some reason it won't unlock any doors with key. Don't hear vacuum motor when trying to unlock either. So is this an issue with the lock control module in door, or the vacuum motor? And how do I test?

I'm not sure when the vacuum central locking was finished with.

You need to get your motor scanned (preferably with VAG-COM\VCDS) for any error codes logged in the ecu and post them, that will save a lot of guessing and check systems out.
