i love the cabriolet...especially the 1980s versions... something about them is just intoxicating. i am looking into getting a 1988. i love it except for the fact that it has no ***** whatsoever. is it even possible to turbo charge or supercharge one of these little guys? i know its basically pointless, but i think it would be fun to have. thanks for any insight.

 

Yeah. It depends what type of engine. Are we talking about that 1.8L???
You can also search on ebay motors. They have sometimes turbo kits for most VWs..
