Does anyone know how to free up a stuck hood on a 2002 Cabrio? The cable is pulling, but it sounds like the lever in the front of the hood is broken. Any ideas on how to get the hood open. We have pushed down, pulled up etc. while someone pulled the cable. All to no avail....Thanks for any help

 

Same problem here on a 2001 bug... it pops from the lever inside the car but the hood release on the outside seems to be disconnected...?

Any ideas?

 

have you check your manuals? it might help...
