Hi! Got a question for the Cabrio gurus out there. I've had a low mileage 1998 Cabrio for years, but it developed engine issues. Had a mechanic recommend swapping engines and I found a 2001 with low miles and bought that car. Talked to another mechanic (as the original guy is swamped and doesn't have time) and this mechanic says that I can't put the 2001 in the 1993 that they are incompatible. Anyone know if that's the case? My first mechanic said he could swap them without issue. Any help greatly appreciated. I now have one car with a good body and one with great engine but poor body and wiring. Ugh. Trying to salvage one for a friend on disability. jane
