Default Adding Turbo to 99 VW Cabrio

Jetta Golf Passat Beetle Cabrio MK2 MK3 MK4 2 0L 8V SOHC T3 T3 T4 Turbo Kit 63 | eBay

I was thinking of adding this turbo to my car. I was wondering if I would have to upgrade any other parts (i.e. Timing Belt)of the car due to the added power.

Thanks for any help!

You don't just bolt a turbo on and everything is ok. The ecu has to be coded differently plus other parts.

What's the mileage as the bottom end could be worn out?
