I have a 1999 Late year Cabrio Volkswagen. I washed the engine down today and now it won't crank. I have spark coming from the coil to distributor but no spark from the distributor to the plugs. I took an air hose and removed the distributor cap and rotor button and blew the cap and distributor out, and then took a hot blow dryer and did the same....still nothing. No fire. Whats going on?

 

pull the wires out of the cap and blow them out
