Hey all!
Starting to trouble shoot a few electrical issues, and looking for suggestions.
The passenger side brake light did not work. Put in a new bulb and all worked. Went for a drive and the left brake light did not work.
New bulb, all worked, then the right side out again. Goes back and forth. Fixes when I remove and put bulb back in. The bulb does not blow,
it just stops working.
Any ideas?

My first thought is to remove and replace all bulbs in the plate, after cleaning the contacts with contact cleaner, any other suggestions welcome.

I wonder if there is a chart anywhere that shows the proper bulbs that go in?
Perhaps if I have a wong bulb in, even if it fits, it could be causing the issue?

 

All cleaned and new bulbs. Hard to figure the proper bulbs, but eventually got it.
Everything works great, including both brake lights.
the real test will be on a long drive, see if they both keep working.
