Bought a mint 2001 cabrio GL automatic for 500 bucks, but the tranny is slipping in 3rd and a little in 4th. I did change the fluid and filter as a long shot and didn't help, so I picked up a rusty beat up 2002 cabrio GL 5 speed. I have done manual swaps on both my mk4 tdi's but never these mk3 based cabrios. Am I correct in thinking everything should be direct bolt in from car to car, also I am planning to swap the entire wiring harness so it would be a manual harness is this needed as well. Lastly both of these cars did not come with cruise control, can I add cruise to this from another cabrio and what would be needed to add this. Thanks in advance for your guys help.
