Switching Front Seats 2000 GLS to 2005 Convertible
Has anyone tried to switch front seats between a convertible Beetle and a GLS 1.8L Turbo Hatchback?
I have bought the 2005 convertible and had the 2000 already. The front seats are much better on the older Beetle no holes or tears and mechanically they fit--- but the electrical connections aren't quite the same. They both have heated seats and passenger front airbags.....two of the wiring clips fit correctly but one doesn't. The wiring schematics I can find aren't helpful.
Any suggestions or help is appreciated.
